pagsesenti ko

i'm currently listening to Landslide, both the Fleetwood Mac and the Smashing Pumpkins version, and it's on continuous play. i love this song (thank you, mar, for introducing this to me) and it never fails to sober me up.

i can't articulate. the lyrics says it all.

Landslide
by Fleetwood Mac

i took my love, took it down
i climbed a mountain and i turned around
and i saw my reflection in a snow-covered hill
till a landslide brought me down

oh, mirror in the sky, what is love?
can the child within my heart rise above
can i sail through the changing ocean tides
can i handle the seasons of my life

well i've been afraid of changing
cause i've built my life around you
but time makes you bolder
even children get older
i'm getting older too

oh, i'm getting older too

take my love, take it down
you climb a mountain and you turn around
and if you see my reflection in the snow-covered hills
but the landslide will bring you down

and if you see my reflection in the snow-covered hills
well, the landslide will bring you down
oh, the landslide will bring you down
